DARREN TALKS ABOUT THE STREET TEAMS

(the reason it sounds like it has no intro or 
end is coz it's the middle of an interview Asha did)

Asha : On that note...have you heard of the Darren Hayes Street Teams?

Darren : Yes.

A : Okay, well, one of our wonderful, avid fans, for our live show, a 
live show that I used to do, has written in to me coz she loves you to
death...and she's the leader for the Asian one.

D : Aaaw...

A : And I was wondering if you could say something for her...

D : (interrupts) Yeah?

A : (continues) Because she wrote in saying...dododododo..."I'm the 
leader for the Asian Darren Hayes Street Team, tell him all the 
Street Teams say hello and good luck - waves at Darren - also ask him 
how it feels to have all these Street Teams set up to support him 
along the way." And I have to say...you have one of the biggest ring, 
website rings that I've ever seen for any artiste I've ever 
researched. It's...it's phenomenal.

D : Look...y'know, we in Savage Garden had the most incredible 
fans...like incredible to the point that sometimes we have to tell 
them to back off!  (Darren giggles) I mean, none of it is something 
that we organized, at all.  I mean, they would bombard radio stations 
and video channels, and I had to go on the Net at one stage and say, 
it's cool guys, like if you feel like watching a Savage Garden video 
or hearing one on the radio (can't make out this bit) sure, call up 
your radio station...but don't call Canada, (Asha laughs) if you're 
in Tokyo! Your parents will kill you, and...y'know it's okay! They 
are so supportive and, and the Street Teams really...y'know, they're 
amazing marketing geniuses! They're...

(noise goes off. Darren and Asha look at source of noise.)

A : Leonie's bursting in...(Leonie laughs)

D : My management's throwing a tantrum...but no, they're great, so I'm
really thankful for this, so y'know, everybody that wants to hear our 
music and, y'know, they know I love them.

A : Cool, fantasic...
